Wolfram Alpha New Step in Search Engine Industry

Wolfram Alpha has been launched and starts giving result for your complicated scientific quires. If you are very much curious to know about this search engine, I recommend visiting Wolfram Alpha Blog. This search engine is very different from Google, Yahoo or MSN by its search engine result quality. Wolfram Alpha will be more useful for scientific related result, I have few article states that Wolfram Alpha Exciting for Scientists, Boring for Everyone Else.

I have been searching and experimenting on Wolfram Alpha since last few days, I am very much impressed with the way they are providing data for numeric calculation. But I disappointed when I have start searching for other generalized keywords like “iphone application development” etc… Here are few screen shots from my search results:

Wolfram Alpha equipped with supercomputer to help handle its expected loads which shows their early development in search industry. Wolfram Alpha states on its blog that its algorithm “Includes some of the most sophisticated ever developed” which is helping to set expectations pretty high. We will see various announcements with additional functionalities in their search result in the future.
