Posted by: admin  :  Category: Search engine optimization, Tech News

Page rank is one of the essential criteria for SEO to achieve better search engine ranking. There are various discussions going on at various leading forums and SEO blogs about current page rank update in July 2008. SEO expert always dream to increase page rank for the sites on which he/she is working. Google never announced official time for page rank updates but as per my experience I can say that, Google updates page rank usually every 3-4 months. Each updates bring some new hope and prediction for next coming PR updates. It is very difficult to predict the PR; SEO should have following characteristic to predict more precise page rank for websites on which he is working

  •  Sound knowledge of PR calculation formula
  •  Sound knowledge of linking structure of website
  • Sound knowledge of thematic link building techniques
  •  Good analytic and strategic knowledge of SEO
  •  Sound experience in SEO industry

This is not everything about SEO but there are many more points that affect a lot. Based on page rank updates in July-2008, I have predict some points which will help to get better page rank in next PR updates predicted in October or November 2008.

  • Only thematic links will work
  • If you are long race horse, never go for mass link building
  • Links from relevant content is more helpful
  • Of course PR matters of link page from which you are getting back link
  • Its easy to get pr3 – pr4 but its very hard to get pr5 and more
  • Link baiting will be more helpful

I know that PR is not more important from SERPs point of view but still it is important for website authority and valuation. Never discourage by PR updates as there is always change to improvement. If we did not get good PR, we should create better strategy from the first day and start working on it. I would like to write one though here “Everything will be ok in the end, If it is not ok then it is not the end”. I would like to congratulate webmasters who got good page rank. All the best to those who are not satisfied with the page rank, Hope you will get better page rank in next PR updates.

Back in October, Steave jobs Apple CEO announced that company planned to release an Official software development kit called (SDK) in February which allow third parties software developer to create tools or application that would run successfully on apple iPhones.

Iphone sdk beta release will be in marchNow it is end of February and no SDK is release for third party developers. Anticipation is building to see what Apple is thinking for third party iPhone and iPode software development. We have to wait little longer as SDK release might be delayed into March. The unofficial Apple weblog predicted that initial Apple SDK kit would alpha or beta release, where as full version might be release in the coming year.

Whether Apple going to announce SDK in February or March, main concern is how the company plans to threat third party Apple iPhone application developers. When Jobs announced the release of SDK, he predicted four months of gap between the planned and release of SDK is necessary. They explain “we’re trying to do two diametrically opposed things at once–provide an advanced and open platform to developers while at the same time protect iPhone users from viruses, malware, privacy attacks, etc”

I think we will find some new information regarding to Apple iPhone SDK release within short period of time. Just keep you eye on latest news of apple announcement.
